Humble horse girl beginnings

From my first memory I was obsessed with horses. I had all the toys: Barbie, My Little Pony, Littlest Petshop and even the wonky, off brand knock offs had a place in my stable as a young horse girl.

I would sit 3 inches from the TV watching saddle club and horseland, then go to play Barbie Horse Adventures on the Play Station 2 (I didn't know about hobby horsing at the time, but if I had I am sure I would have been doing that too!)

While I was lucky enough to do a bit of riding when I was 7-13, after that it became financially difficult for me to visit the stables and take lessons. I don't think I was too fussed though, as by this point I had found my new favourite game: Star Stable Online.

After many years of playing the game as often as I could on my Dad's work laptop (sorry!), Christmas Day 2016 I asked for only two gifts: Star Coins and Movavi Video Editor. On the 27th of December I created the Youtube channel 'Abigail Pinehaven' and the rest you can watch for yourself!

I'm a horse game youtuber, and I own a content creation company called Pinehaven Productions LTD. I was born on the 21st of May, and I have been doing Youtube since 2016!

I am a horse girl through and through, however horses are expensive and I was never really able to be an 'equestrian' or own a horse. Horse Games were the perfect solution for this, they are far more accessible - and you don't have to get up at 6am to feed them!

As soon as I was allowed to be on computers I loved gaming. It started with web games like Bella Sara, Animal Jam and Moshi Monsters, then it was Minecraft, then Star Stable, then The Sims, Skyrim, and eventually Red Dead Redemption 2, Days Gone, The Last of Us and other big game titles.

It's my dream to one day own a small equestrian property and maybe even rescue horses, so in the mean time I am working hard creating videos that fulfil that desire digitally!

Pretty much any sort of horse game content! This could be top New horse game reviews, Minecraft 100 Day Challenges, Rival Stars breeding videos and so much more. I used to be purely a Star Stable channel (hence the name) but I have since branched out into more variety! You can also find my ingame photography on Instagram, fun games and events on my Discord and sometimes I post to my TikTok too.

I also have a Model Horse Shop, co-own the Horse Game News website, I'm partnered with a Horse RedM Server and there is a Equestrian Minecraft Server you can play too!

My channel started as just a hobby in 2016. I was only 15 at the time and I was actually pursuing a career in acting. I attended two acting schools outside of mandatory education, chose GCSE drama and even completed a foundation year at Rose Bruford when I was 18. However when 2020 rolled around and the whole world shut down, I turned my focus onto my channel full time and have been lucky enough to have grown to a size where I can comfortably call this my full time job!

Creating Pinehaven Productions LTD in 2021 was an important (and scary) step for me. It is a way for me to engage beyond my "YouTuber" status to the wider gaming profession and industry.

At the end of the day, 'doing Youtube' means you have to learn a lot of skills: writing, editing, presenting, hosting, streaming, managing and on top of that, playing A LOT of different games everyday.

Where I have endeavoured to create entertaining and informative content over the years, I have learnt a great deal about gaming and the role horses play in these experiences.

I have even been lucky enough to also work as a game consultant where I realised quite how much information I had accumulated after years and years of playing games and creating content. ''Horse Games'' is one of the biggest under-served markets and I hope to help change that in the coming years.

All of my videos are carefully curated to be clean and family friendly, unless it is stated to be for an older audience at the start of the video. Even my Red Dead Roleplay videos are shot and edited in a way that makes everything free of sensitive footage or strong language.

My audience used to be a lot younger when I first started, however my analytics show that my biggest age range is from 18-24. With that in mind, I still intend to keep my channel available to watch for all ages.
